Summer Gear Guide
Let’s keep it cool, comfortable, and ready for play!
Summer at Wild Roots Explorers means water play, mud pies, sun-soaked fun, and lots of outdoor movement. Dressing your child in the right gear will help them stay safe, happy, and fully engaged.
Here’s what we recommend your child wear and bring to class:
What to Wear
-
Rash guard and swimsuit as a base layer — kids often get wet, and these dry quickly and help prevent chafing
-
Light, breathable layers over swimsuits (optional) — that you don’t mind getting wet or dirty
-
Water shoes, crocs, or sandals with a back strap. Bare feet are also welcome!
-
Sun hat (bucket hats or caps with a brim)
-
Apply sunscreen before class
💡 Tip: Rash guards are a great alternative to T-shirts — they dry faster and offer extra sun protection!
